Please ensure you have installed both 1.20 and 1.21 patches for Crysis before trying to start the mod.
The patch is my problem. 1.2 won't install.

After the first reinstall, I couldn't get the 1.2 patch to execute. It would start up and give me the UAC approval option, but after that ...nothing.  I fired up Crysis to see what version it was running, and it showed it was still at 1.1.  Plus, it was stuttering while in full screen.

So, I uninstalled, deleted crysis folder, rebooted, reinstalled. This time I fired up Crysis before patching and I got the same result. Again, the first patch went through ok but the second patch would stop after the UAC option.

When patching Crysis, make sure you have a fresh install and do not start the game!
I don't know why, but in my case even the 1.2 update refused to patch after I had started the game, so I had to uninstall, reinstall and apply both patches before running the game itself...

I have, and it didn't help. It doesn't make sense for either since the patch wasn't released the same day the game was.

I appreciate the advice, guys. I'll probably try it again sometime down the road. I just got to build up the nerve first.

sounds like a problem with Crysis then if it won't patch, try contacting EA support perhaps, otherwise may just have to wait till the Crysis Wars convert.

something else you can try if you have a spare $10 is to just buy off of Steam, it autopatches for you

Run a registry cleaner before your next install and nuke any Crysis "stubs" that are left behind from prior installs.  CCleaner works wonders.
