Well think about this, I have an AMD Phenom Quad Core 9600 Processor. And I'm getting horrible FPS. It gets over 12 players and I just leave.

How should I set my post processing to get the best FPS. Currently I have high.

Lowest setting possible for best FPS. You may reach a point where lowering it doesn't provide a noticeable increase in FPS, however. I'm unsure about MWLL, but in other titles it can be a substantial performance hit.

I only see a performance hit on the new version of Inferno, and even then, it is only because of all the action going on....every other map seems similar if not identical....

I'm running:

Q6600 OC'd @ 3.2GHz
6gb of DDR2 6400 @ 4-4-4-12 (I'm running 32-bit XP so it only uses 2.78 *growls*)
Nvidia 9800 GTX

I play on a mix of High and medium settings using the famous Crysis DX10 hack....I run my monitor at 1280x960

Yo Korjax, your build seems similar to mine, what fps you get at what settings I would like to know?
I have been lazy about re overclocking my cpu after it was crashing because of some stupid video encoding program I was trying so mine is at 2.6Ghz quad core, I'm thinking about getting it back up to either 3.0 or 3.2 Anyways, I have 9600 GTs SLI, that should be better than one in this case right? >.>
I run DX10 with 8gigs of 1066ram DDR2 (oldz), which mode do you run in? thanks.

I run DX9 since it looks exactly like DX10 except with better performance.

My CPU is a QX6850 which is a high end quad core at 3.0ghz and 4GB of RAM, so my only real bottle neck is my single 9600GT as far as performance goes, and it seems to do me fine. I don't try and run crysis on very high settings or anything at a really high resolution though. I run a mix between high a medium, at 1400x900

Dx9 on max settings doesn't look as good as Dx10 on max settings, I've looked! Maybe it's all in my head...

It looks the same when you force those magical "DX10 only" settings to run in DX9 via the autoexec.cfg file or CCC or something. Or you could just type the command into the console for each "DX10" effect. Standard crysis just doesn't let you turn on those setting in the main menu if you run DX9 (they removed this limitation in warhead).

The only thing that truely can only run in DX10 is object based motion blur (aka maxxing out motion blur settings).

I don't ever want to run the pile of filth that is CCC the most rubbish pointless program I have ever installed on my pc in ages. Running DX9 or lowering any setting makes the game look better and run better than what CCC ever does.

Ok CCC rant out of the way...I haven't tested CCC while in DX9 mode, but really I have no point to actually try (I only tried it in DX10 just becuase everyone kept saying how good it was, not becuase I needed it) and the game looks worse with CCC turned on, so if thats what it looks like in DX9 as well, then DX10 full settings defiently do look better.

Ok, so today I installed GameXP, which is a program that alters all my PC settings to optimise it for gaming. I kept CCC installed, but upon loading up MWLL, noticed the graphics had taken a major drop in terms of looks. I imagine this program somehow forced this change as a design to improve FPS issues. Upon running the game, I noticed no immediate FPS increase, even though the quality of visuals was definitely lower, and my CPU and GPU temperatures were clocking in at about 10 degree's less than with previous CCC visuals in play. This indicates to me that my overall CPU and GPU activity is lower, and thus, considering the lack of difference in FPS when the server started to fill up at the 18 player mark, I can only conclude that this drop in fps isn't related to any difficulty my CPU or GPU is having processing this number of players.

Back in 0.2 I wouldn't join the BOSS server because I had these similar FPS issues when playing in servers with 30 ppl. Now I can't play in servers with 18 ppl without experiencing some severe FPS problems (at times). It seems like the more assets on the field the worse it gets, and its not small incremental drops either, its huge.

I can run mirage with 4 ppl on the server at over 100 FPS. As soon as the player count starts to max out, my fps plumets to sub 30. All I can think of is there's some kind of memory issue going on which is leading to increased crashing and server failures.

I'm running with a i7 and an ATI 5900 series and I've been getting weird stutters in the center area of Mirage in particular and using Optics in general.  I installed CCC earlier today and it seemed to help a little, but it is still quite noticeable and detrimental to early battles.

Ultimate tip, use the CCC 3.0 version for Crysis Warhead, it also works with Crysis but is more advanced then the CCC version for Crysis.
There comes a point where the talking must stop, and people have to do actual work.

Well, game menus weren't changed at all.  ::) so I'd bet on PC fault.

I joined boss server (only server which had enough people on it) and memory isn't spiking, or going up. My PC is constantly using 3gb of ram (same as before) and still having some fps problems.

The issue is independent of ccc or PC.  I was playing mwll up until the patch came out just fine and then after the patch I notice my gameplay was sluggish so I turned on displayinfo to monitor what was happening. I used to play on 32 player server at 30fps and Im Lucky to get half that now. I was already testing 0.2 at custom low settings and resolutions so i can't drop them further to test.  I hope that the fixes for server crashing is linked to this because it ain't gettin fixed otherwise I can tell.

I get insane FPS drops all the time.
This did not happen as often as today in 0.2.0.
