My biggest issues with lag are definitely tied to certain assets, in .2 early on I would get serious lag problems(sound and fps performance hits) I cured them by updating my audio drivers. The assets I had the most trouble with were hawkmoths and harassers, I knew immediately  when either spawned on the map.
Post .3 the same issues are back with the same assets. I updated my drivers (audio and video this time) and performance improved to a playable state but not necessarily an enjoyable one.

I'm also getting performance problems.  Really haven't had much time to play as of late but the 3-4 hours since release have been really choppy with freeze's and this weird pausing while running.  Haven't checked FPS yet will try this weekend.  My system could run MWLL on low spec in 0.2.0 but its been kinda rough going.....

pent4 @ 2.8   8600gt   3gb ddr2 800  ( i know im workin on it)

Frankly im surprised your able to play at all. You could spend 100 dollars and have a faster cpu and motherboard.

How do I enable the FPS display in the game...?

I notice my frames get too low to be effective when I'm in a closeup brawl.

After you press "~" to access the command menu area

r_infodisplay 1

r_infodisplay 0   (this will turn it off)

r_infodisplay 1

r_infodisplay 0   (this will turn it off)

r_displayinfo.

note that 2 is a accessible parameter that's supposed to reveal more detailed info, but seems to just turn it off (acts like 0).
