sorry for the double post but I want to bump this topic because I can't decided steam or disk.

the disk I would have to get in the us from a relative, while steam I could get anywhere I want. but my country might want to "pull the plug" on steam, and steam sounds pretty annoying (i'm testing it right now with the free nasa moonbase thing)

so, if i'm sitting in Belarus (eastern europe), what does anyone think is the best idea?

Go for the Disk version. You can purchase the Maximum Edition from the UK, Germany or France at a fair price.

If you have fears about your country blocking out steam definitely go the disk route.
