meaning the arm of the ba, which is lower than your shoulder, will allways hit something right below your chin.
raise up untill half of you is visible and then shoot. that's enough of an advantage for you little toads <.<

This is also a geometry issue. There's a lot of rocks on Sandblasted that have concave geometry but are, in fact, solid.

It seems after the 0.1.0 update I have a lot of problems with the BA flamer and cooking myself.  This happens on moderate (i'd say moderate, 60-80 ping) servers as well as the 120-140 euro servers.  Essentially, I seem to be hitting myself with the flame if I'm moving forward, even though the screen doesn't reflect this, or at times, hitting something 10 meters away will somehow reflect onto me.  All I get is that my armor and health rapidly drops after beginning to fire the flamer, unless I'm pointed at a decently sharp angle above the ground.

I'm still trying to pinpoint the exact cause, but there's some bug that causes certain BA weapons to be unresponsive and not fire, along with disabling your ability to throw grenades and switch grenade types. It seemed like it was happening if I tried to switch grenade types while in close proximity to friendly APCs.

Using flamer near a mech or underwater, the flamer's splash might instakill a BA.
I've died countless of times to my flamer hitting a mech and i'm within 10m of the mech. Also when firing the thing underwater and it hit's the surface of the water causes the splash damage as well and might kill the BA.

After doing a lot of fiddling I think this is simply anytime you spawn from an APC. I have no problem with 'nades if i spawn from a base, but if I spawn from an APC and even so much as try to select a differnt 'nade type it won't let me throw them, and my weapons won't fire. That said, I did find a combo that got me around this issue. If you choose flamer + micro after spawning from an apc, I fire them both, test throw a grenade, and as long as I fire the flamer next the weapons and 'nades will all work. go figure. The other thing that usually works is the ppc. Even if you're grenade bugged the manpack ppc always seems to work. BA is one of my favs so I hope you guys find a hotfix this one soon.

Confirmed, the APC does have some bugs. I do believe BAs spawning from an APC also have less health.

About that crosshair issue. Afaik it only disappears when you use the SRMs, lock onto something and then switch back to an other weapon.

To fix this simply choose the SRM again, look away from your target (to loose the lock) switch weapons again and you'll be fine.

Isn't there a health bug when spawning from the APC?

Yep, I reported it not too long ago.

It cuts out 26 Health points from a BA when you spawn from an APC, which is what brings it back into the one-shot kill range for the AC2.

Its been known for ages and is related to all assets, not just the APC. When you spawn inside an APC its the same as ejecting from any other asset, the player is dealt damage from the asset.

Known Crysis Issue! This is a remnant from the Delta difficulty in single player. It may happen with any weapon at any time.
