System info:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93 GHZ
4 GB RAM
Geeforce GTS 250
Sound blaster X-Fi fatality pro
Win XP proffesional (32 bit)

MWLL settings:
DX9
32 bit
1680x1050
All settings on high
AA on 2x
No CCC

I got no FPS problems, except maye in extreme situations and after entering a map in progress duirng spectator mode for the first 30 seconds or so until everything is loaded.
I seem to get 1 or 2 CTD every round, usually after half an hour of play or so, and have experienced up to 4 or 5 in a single round.
The worst case I got 3 CTD in a row when rejoining the map after a CTD, this was on frostbite.

I can turn off AA and see if it makes a difference, but doubt it.
Other than that I have been through the troubleshooting giude with no improvement.

Yes, turn AA off.
When I read your comment I initially read it as 'turn anti-air off' LOLOLOL.

  • Mauler C, Harasser D, Shiva C-you get the picture.
Or, try using just the Edge AA:
r_UseEdgeAA [0,1,2]
Try 2 to see if you can handle it or 1 failing that (and save to AutoExec.cfg), looks better than no AA at all and gives better performance than regular AA IMO.

Does this just affect the lines on the outside of texture surfaces? That's all I use AA for anyway.

It will blur the edge of in game entities with a slight drop in FPS. The command cannot work in conjunction with other AA enabled and only works with the Shaders Quality on High or above.
