HELP! Invert Y Axis for vtol/aero not working!

Hi guys, recently I wanted to try either vtol/aeros out, but the one thing that bothers me is the pitch up/down being default "pulling the mouse back=pitching up" and vice versa. I have used actionmapper to invert this setting, but when I do invert pitch up/down it becomes totally unresponsive in game. Someone mentioned doing something with xml dock... ANY help will be appreciated and I really want to start some aero experimenting. BTW I am using mouse+keyboard. Thanks!

Has anyone gotten this to work?  I am dying to fly some but am hardwired for reverse mouse axis.

never worked. you have to check the box in game to invert axis on all controls then uncheck it when you get in a mech. sucks.

Well, my inverted axis is applied for BA and Mech. 
The issue for me is when getting in Aeros.  Nothing seems to remedy inverting the pitch axis to match the BA and mech settings.   Is there a tutorial around for manually editing the action map files to enable this for mouse?   I've searched, really I have, but seems that the topics are all for Joysticks?
