ok thanks
this graphics card actually runs very demanding games OK on the medium settings, and the memory and other stuff is perfect

and I don't play solitaire, I'm not that old.  ;)

also, I don't care if running LOW would get me at a severe disadvantage, I just want to play this awesome mod. or help make it at least. and I doubt loading sandbox takes much graphics capability (if you look at the other stats you'd see that I have a blazing computer)

I understand that I can't get decent quality with what I have now, and so I'm looking into new laptop graphics cards. but I want to start something now no matter the quality.

edit: could a dev please comment on this?

You are still loading the entire map, and in some cases looking at it all at once ^^ So it's going to be at least as tasking as running it in the game alone. + All the other crap thats there ^^

Jason, no. Your laptop will not run either Crysis or Sandbox. Fuggedaboudit.

Also, no point looking at video cards either. You own a laptop, and the wonderful thing about laptops is that, without some technical know-how and skill, you cannot upgrade them. Besides from more ram and harddrive space.

I agree that the lappy while ok in most other areas, the video card murders any real hope you have to enjoy MWLL on it.

That being said, there's nothing from stopping you from trying to run it ;)

i might be able to go back in 1 month or 10 months, it depends on factors I don't wish to explain...

this looks ok to run it, no?

I cannot find much about the card (It's a popular card in laptops not PC) but it seems to be able to play Crysis. I rekon medium settings would be possible. But your CPU is way too slow. Yes Crysis and MWLL is NOT CPU intence, but that doesn't mean the slowest CPU possible is able to run the game!

Will you run the sandbox? Yes. Will it run very well? Can't say, probably not. Will it be good enough for you to mess around, even with all settings down to low? Very likly.

Will you be able to play MWLL online? Only in very small games of say 4-6 people. Any higher and your FPS will just drop like a very heavy elephant trying to parachute.

Upgrading the GC will make the game slightly more playable, and make the sandbox more enjoyable, but without a faster CPU, by overlocking or replacing it, you may get some stutters.

All in all, it's looking good that you will actually be able to play the game ^^ And the sandbox, even if it's in small games ^^

ho won't allow overclocking

All in all, it's looking good that you will actually be able to play the game when I get back, sigh...  :( ^^ And the sandbox, even if it's in small games ^^ ill try sandbox with my current crappy rig and compare

Your running only 2.1ghz CPU and people with 2.2-2.4ghz are having problems playing in large games, with graphic cards far more powerful than yours. You will be able to play, but doesn't matter what you do to Crysis, you just don't have the power for larger games.

Yes on everything on minium settings would be good, but I rekon you could push them up a bit. Depends on your res that your running the game on. I'm so used to 1900x1200 I always forget how much easier 1200x1000 is lol. If your only running on 1200x1000 (I am going to assume being the PC is well, not that great and your family don't seem rich) you will easily get medium at least. Won't help that much on the CPU problem though ^^
