Title: Mouse button 4 and 5 not working
Post by: Flashblade on January 14, 2017, 11:36:49 AM
Hello you helpful people,

I have got the above problem. If I try to fire weapon groups 4 and 5 with my mouse, nothing happens and yes I have actually put weapons into those groups. Not even when I try to trick MWLL by programing those buttons to be keyboard key 4 and 5, does anything happen. I have got a Logitech Corded M500 Mouse. Any idea what is the problem here?

Thanks in advance

I have a logitech proteus and use the same trick of assigning the mouse buttons to the number keys(since it doesn't have generic mouse button bindings) but sometimes one of the buttons stops working for no reason, even though it's bound like the others which still work fine. I open the mouse software to check and everything is fine, go back to the game and suddenly the button works again like it should.

No it isn't. In another game these changes get recognized just fine.

Do you have the Logitech drivers/setpoint/whatever installed? Those are known to mess with native buttons.

I use a 5 button logitech trackball and do NOT use the logitech drivers just whatever is built into windows 8. All 5 buttons just work.

I do have set point installed yes but no additional drivers. I am on Windows 10 by the way. I will try with setpoint uninstalled and see what kind of result comes up.

EDIT: Okay i uninstalled setpoint and the buttons do work although they are backwards from any other application 4 is 5 and 5 is 4. But I really don't find this solution satisfactory. If I want to be able to program my buttons I need setpoint and also when I want access to the two additional buttons that are now unavailable.

The good is considered a work out and can not find a way out.
