It won't let you log in, it's merely for archiving purposes.

It'll be available until the old server shuts down (which is beyond my control). I'll request a backup of the db for a permanent archive, but no guarantees.

It appears the old server has finally shut down, and with it the forum archive. It won't be accessible anymore.

Not all is lost, as I have a (slightly outdated) backup of the database. But for now there's no way to access the archive.

Is there any chance that archive will work again?

Any (hopefully easy) way to access the old forum database? I'm trying to track some older map creators for wiki, and there might be some mentions of them. I've already searced the wayback machine records pretty thoroughly and asked current mappers what they know. Also checked the CJW forums, where I found some useful info.

Unfortunately I can't just give people access to the DB, as it contains private information. If you tell me what you're looking for, I could search throught it myself however.
