Hey all,

I heard about this game many a year ago and at the time I was unsure about it and my rig couldn't handle it, not to mention it looked like it was getting shut down. Shame.

I've been directed here by a Youtuber no less!

and he mentioned MW:LL, and that it had been revived once more? From the forum look there's still a few people about but, my question is, for someone that's played MechWarrior since MW2:31st Century Combat, is it worth getting into this game now? How alive is it? I'm intrigued by the fact there's more than just Mechs, but tanks, jets, light vehicles and more. Is it a server browser lobby game you join into or do I search into matches, I'm curious! Would be very much appreciative of any inside experience you all can share.

TL;DR:
1. It is worth it since it takes not more than total 20GB of your storage and the community is vivid and mostly friendly.
2. New content is still being added.
3. There might be more good reasons than the fore mentioned.

The forum doesn't quite represent the community, it's pretty quiet in here. It's also not much effort to "get into" MWLL. There is a steep learning curve, yes, but beyond that there's no permanence between games, so there's nothing to build up over time or grind for.
