Some leftover oven roasted capsicums/bell peppers are an excellent way to impart sweetness to pizza without resorting to the evil yellow fruit

If you used a very finely mashed (ie pressed through a mesh) mashed potato mixed with a decent amount of butter (50g to 150g of mash), a cheese like Gruyère as the bulk (1/3 - 1/2 of the volume of the mash) and then a small amount of Parmesan to add a sharper note. This spread very thinly onto a thin based pizza and baked until golden brown.

I think that, could be pretty nice. Would work with smoked chicken.

I will have pineapple on pizza, coming to think of it pickles would serve the same juicy/tangy purpose. I also like black olives, anchovies and other polarising toppings.

A pizza shop I used at univerity used to offer a desert pizza with nutella and raisins and banana, it was very nice.
