Why does the MWLL community not grow….

Enforcing uniformity
Most player don’t play objective, they play kills
Advanced Player use unethical tactics to win at all cost
Woke rules enforcement and cancel culture
Mostly night playing times for all outside US
To much bugs to comprehend for most
Long learning curve and no good explanations
No real strategy and tactic sessions ( all generals , no soldiers )
A few high skill player dominate everything
A very limited number of maps is played over and over again, everything else is voted away
The above point is mostly enforced by the players that hunt kills at all cost, and vote away everything that them don’t give a advantage
Arrogance of so called developers
Singel use of platforms like discord instead of mailing lists or alternatives that a lot of people avoid
Look around here...death and outdated everything.....

What exactly is your point then? You were just listing some random observations.

Random ? No. Under this conditions nearly all of the newbies i saw comming the last few months left , totally frustrated. If you want the community grow, chance it. Be a real welcoming and open community. Not a US shooting galery.

You are absolutely right.

It's not only why it doesn't grow it's why it drives Mechwarrior fans away from this game... the "community" stinks, the attitude and rudeness has driven hundreds of players away from this game over the years, it's been remarked upon on other forums for years i.e. "Nice game, toxic community".. a clique of woke nerds have dominated and ruined the game, criticise their established rule or make a suggestion to improve their terrible decision making and they come swooping down on you together like a pack of vultures.. (and cancel you of course).

MWLL is not a better game than it was say 8 years ago, it's worse and they've made it worse, their "improvements" over the years have been massive downgrades.

They've nerfed and maxxed the assets that suit only them to remove all element of strategy and tactics in a game that might have resulted in them dying more than is acceptable to them and to max the assets that they can exploit - meaning the game is now reduced to hit box targetting and skill nerding, it's no longer Mechwarrior it's no better than going into a 90s gaming arcade and using a light gun, Any tactics or strategies that might have inflicted on their personal skills in the past and leveled the playing field a little are immediately nerfed, and the nonsense excuses they come up with for their implementations are ridiculous.

Like you correctly put... the arrogance of those who are not the actual developers of MWLL but the custodians of it and who have done a pretty bad job of that is astounding.

The arrogance of those who aren't in the community at all, provide no examples of all the accusations they make and shit talk free to play mods with "custodians" who spent untold amounts of time for free improving it and adding content is astounding.

The first thing you did was try to bring something like race into this and I believe you mentioned assertions? Because all I see is just your projections (a typical pattern employed by the caste now ruling this game)..

I've seen you in game and you are a perfect exemplar of one of the woke vultures I described in my first post.

There are those of us who still play very occasionally despite the community & the "updates" and we've been with this game for a lot longer than you have.

the community was always a mixed bag - stick around for some longer and see for your self

I think encouraging and supporting the woke nerds is the best possible thing the community can do to grow, way more of them coming down the pipe than sleepy dumb dumbs I think I'll update and log in this weekend.
