Are you someone too scared or inept to apply for a clan? Then look no further! [MERC] is a loose connection of players who would maybe like to play together, but don't want the pressure of performing for a clan.
There's no recruitment process, no leader/ranks or anything that says you can't be a MERC, just shove a [MERC] tag in front of your in game name and play with your fellow MERCs.
I like the idea of this because it helps with a few things:
Long time players who don't want or feel the draw of a clan can have a similar but totally informal collection of allies to play with.
Adds a little more flavor to our small community.
