Hello, I have to admit to being a fan of MechWarrior since I was a kid, and wanting to get something to scratch that itch until MW5 comes out. I'm nervous about online gaming (rather unfond of being yelled at) and would honestly like to try running a roleplay - be it just text or actually following the system (though I would need to find books).

Hoping to find a friendly community willing to interact and teach me this game and even maybe find like-minded people to do an RP with. I do also have discord, I am simply nervous about joining new communities.

Nice to meet you dude, let me just say this. Our community is friendly but we also thrive on a bit of banter so if you do find someone is being rude towards you please understand it is generally intended without malice and is just good natured ribbing.

As for roleplay, I have quite a lot of books in electronic format. If you'd like a copy of them shoot me a dm via the discord.

Valheru here from in game and the old forum. Just saying a quick G'day to you all here on the new forum and that I'm glad to be back in the pilot's seat again after a half year hiatus while taking care of some other things.
