Maps: Want to try a new map? Don't like a map? Tell me! I'm eager to keep the map rotation fresh and enjoyable. If you dislike a custom map, make sure to also tell the mapper why. You'll often find them in the Community - Content section of this forum.

Voting: Funbocks has automated map voting functionality. This is still in beta. If you find any bugs or problems, or have ideas for improvements, let me know!

Cheaters, teamkillers or other asshats: Please provide proof in the form of screenshots or videos and post here! Include server name and timestamp (in UTC!!). If the problem is still ongoing you may also contact me directly in the chat and I will intervene, assuming I'm available.

Got banned? You may appeal the ban. Post here. Bring evidence.

New changes: Automatic end-of-map votes now need far fewer votes to succeed!

End-of-map detection for the Out-of-tickets scenario is still broken. I require some changes that might make it into the next MWLL version for this to work.

Having people complain to me about bad language being used on FB via discord is one of the more amusing things that have happened in recent times.

What is the procedure to have a new map submitted for one_time_only public testing (beta test)?

I have, for instance a map and wold like to test the elevators, doors and de-sync issues in the drop-ships, with several random players across the net.

What someone, attempting this, has to submit, and how long before the map is up?

I have this map with custom files "elsewhere" that are needed for the experimental turrets to work.

I had test like this before, and the thing works, question is can it be hosted on the mighty Funboks as well?
Or, is it only practical to host such tests on private servers?

There are no procedures yet. I might put a near-finished map on a Bocks for play-testing, but not experiments or rudimentary feature-tests. It's not the right place for this.

This can happen when both duplicates are using different game modes. One is using score-based TSA, the other ticket-based TSA.

Update:

I have implemented a suggestion cyofee had on the old forum. Funbocks Gamma is now running Last Man Standing instead of regular Solaris Arena.

I'm unsure if it's configured well. For now it is set to 5 minutes round time and 70k starting cash.

Please give it a try and let me know what you think!

I don't think that's a good idea. Once you are killed, you have to wait until everyone (but one) is dead - which of course might drain the server of players. One round of LMS in between might mix up the fun though.

Well, sorta? They're part of the maplist used for voting/rotation. I've switched Gamma over to random mix of game modes now.
