cameramen/commentators
« on: July 29, 2011, 12:55:55 PM »
This will be a notification/volunteer area for any cameramen or commentators that would like to provide their services for upcoming matches.

I will provide dates and the required number of cameramen/commentators for each match we plan to record; please post with what job you are willing to fill and what match you wish to volunteer for (see example post below).

Requirements
Cameramen:

    TS3
    HD capture (720p or 1080p)
Solid fps at most times (20+ in heavy action; I say this because when the matches are upped to youtube, there's a bit of leeway in regards to fps)
    Video Compression Software
    Good aesthetic tastes

Commentators:

    TS3
Be able to speak clearly and confidently (doesn't have to be in English, we can have Language specific commentary if people want it)
Be unbiased: this is very important.  Commentators do not take sides and do not have opinions; we provide information and the possible and logical conclusions of said information.
Have an engaging personal manner.  Humor is a definite plus, especially when interacting with other commentators, but not at the expense of commentary
Good/Excellent general knowledge of maps, strategies, variants, etc.

We need this guy: http://www.youtube.com/user/HuskyStarcraft

I'm not sure we could afford him though ;)

I'd be up for trying in some 1v1 matches (Might be hard for me to stay unbiased with team play, CJW 4 lyfe), though this dynamic would work much better with a pair of commentators as I'm sure is obvious.
