Permission to Modify the MWLL Wiki
« on: February 01, 2014, 10:43:09 PM »
So, yeah, the wiki needs some major updating and every time I find something out that isnt in the wiki, I want to go and add it, but I can't. So, can I have permission to edit it?

I assume you need to contact one of these guys:
http://wiki.mechlivinglegends.net/index.php?title=Mechwarrior_Living_Legends_Wiki:Administrators
For the rights you're looking for.

Probably Leer as well though I don't see him on that list.
Seraph would be your best bet though he's pretty hard to find.

Apparently Kit is an admin, but I don't know the extent of his privilege-bestowing powers.
If anyone's around it's him because he's constantly reporting posts like it still matters.

KitLightning gave me the rights to edit the Wiki (or Vlaad), so I think he's still the right guy.
Tools and I:
   - MWLL Online Launcher (LAN UDP Forwarder) - evolution of past "Le Proof of Concepto" project: connect without Gamespy via packet redirection;
   - Vehicle Browser - "Pocket Wiki" Šokaolias (not really that though);
   - Rconnect 4.3 - Server tools: map manager/player voting add-ons;
   - CryHammer - Validates Patch/CDKey of Crysis Wars (now unable to validate CDKey due to turned off Gamespy servers).

Oiy all reports matters but I'll remember to sprinkle some humor in it next time, just for the hell of it ;)

I need Warlord Kentax email to finalize the account.

Light Mechs are done and afaik the Mediums should be correct too.

Bruno's little tool is excellent if you need data extracted and don't want to parse through the .xml's.

Some light mechs may still have text refering to old version loadouts but that does not matter as long as the weapons and equipment listed on the right hand side are correct.

Getting the wiki updated to final version stats would make this great project look like properly finished. Or should that be 'sadly'  finished?  ::)
Also since this game has huge learing curve having correct wiki details helps new players to reach their full potential faster.
