Hmm Star, i think we did drop last time or the previous one with 350 tons.. Anyway, yes, i would take Aeros even in a 1vs1 (especially in a 1vs1! That is the Clan way after all).

If you got your all Rifleman drop why not ASF-only or BA only? For fun! This is not MWO, we have different kinds of combat, we should explore them, quiaff?  ;)

Just do TC with altered starting c bills (say 105k)
Impossible to do...we can set sv_starting_cbills only for TestofStrength game mode (in which bases dont't work...)

Then 40k on a GOOD TC map will work just fine. I guarantee you that competitive 5v5 to 8v8 TC games RARELY become one sided stomps. Much of the "cheese" that typically goes on in one-sided Teamspeak stomps fails miserably when both teams are actively coordinating on TS.

I agree with Amuro and Rajveer, we should try some organized TC as well, not just simple drops.

I understand that the scale of Op Viper is not possible probably, but we could try to do something smaller. Maybe 2 or 3 TC maps per event (official maps first since everyone knows and has these - deathvalley, kago, TC mirage for example would be ok), no extra rules, just play like any normal TC game. I think it would be fun if you can get 16-20 players on teamspeak.

Even if there are not that many people,  6v6 or 7v7 can be interesting in TC, depends on the map.

Less preparation before matches and more action, than in a 5v5 ToS drop, less problem with disconnects etc.

Anyway, I'll try to be there this weekend.

Here's an idea.

Puretech. 
Clan gets no repeating variants.

Inner Sphere gets up to three repeats of one any variant. 

Equal drop weight, price is of no concern.

Seems to me to simulate the lore, and offers some value to strategy, and not just tactics.

I'm going to be bringing a few guys over to play once or twice a week. I'm not sure how many of us will be over to play but I'm going to shoot for two nights a week, Wednesday night and Saturday nights for now. It's not going to be us grouping up to slaughter, it's going to be auto join and have fun.
