Making UI for Planetary League, Can Has Help With Art Assets?

Hello,

So a while back I made these signs for map makers to use. It never took off, but to get the silhouettes of the mechs I took screenshots from the in-game buy menu. Is there anyway that I could get the originals of the silhouettes for use in my UI for the planetary league stuff?



Also, I'd like to be able to make some high quality screenshots of all the different assets and all of the different variants. Is the best way just to have one player spawn the asset and a spectator take the screenshots? Or is there some better way?

oh yeah, for screenshots would be a bluebox very nice. Ivaan, Emi or Vitos, can you maybe create a map with a airhangar and groundhangar and everything else in one blue colour ? this would make it easy for hq screenshots from every asset.

Well, for now we are just doing the chaos march, but if we can get some automation going we'll totally do a planetary league.

I think you can try to decompile the flash stuff used for the HUD...don't ask me how to do that, I don't know.

Thank for the link to the editor. That will make things  a lot easier, but I don't know how to get mechs to show up in the editor. Do you know how to do that?

Create a shortcut of Editor.exe, then in target add -mod MWLL.

Example: "C:\Programas\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis Wars\Bin32\Editor.exe" -mod MWLL

Then, to put a Visigoth on a map:

Go to Objects->Entity->Vehicles->Double click CL_Visigoth, and place it on some map. On Entity Properties/Modification, type one of the variants (Prime/A/B...), and then go to Tools->Reload Scripts to update the Visigoth with the variant you chose (or you can right click the Visigoth and hit Reload Script).
Tools and I:
   - MWLL Online Launcher (LAN UDP Forwarder) - evolution of past "Le Proof of Concepto" project: connect without Gamespy via packet redirection;
   - Vehicle Browser - "Pocket Wiki" Šokaolias (not really that though);
   - Rconnect 4.3 - Server tools: map manager/player voting add-ons;
   - CryHammer - Validates Patch/CDKey of Crysis Wars (now unable to validate CDKey due to turned off Gamespy servers).
