It already looks better than that Mekamek with better graphics . . MW Command? Game.
The one thing irritating to me is how little damage the AC20 seems to be doing to the target the two times the Hunchback fires it.

I doubt the pot is going to rise after the first few days. Battletech fanbase is not the largest, and soon probably everyone who cares about this has heard about it. No way it reaches 2.5 million.

There are enough Videos on YT already which explain the gameplay pretty well. One guy is even so good he modded his Beta and does a little campaign. So there are some other models already in the beta. Cool stuff. The Multiplayer and the campaign are really where the meat is for me though. I will wait on that.. hard. :)

Seriously though, it is really fine if a bit heavy on the demands. I cannot complain, my machine has no problems with it.

I wasn't asking for a youtube video, I was asking for your personal impressions. Can I ask what your stats are? My machine is starting to get rather long in the tooth and unfortunately the chances of my being able to upgrade as slim (poverty is a lot of fun).

I'm also curious to see what the campaign will be like as that's the real meat and potatoes for me as well (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GH0YPXb49q0), has there been any indication as to wherein the BT universe they plan on setting it? I heard it may well be going to do a Mercenaries route, which I'd be ok with as long as there was an actual story to go along with things.

It'll take place in the periphery region between the capellans, canopians, and taurians. Time setting will be 3025, and the story will indeed go the mercenary route.

Well, I will try to share my specs: 16 GB RAM, SSD HD :P, Intel Core i7. 64 Bit.

Their patch said that they geared it a bit to slower, smaller machines, but I cannot comment on the performance because at this time my PC just can do it. Also I dont play the newest and most demanding games so not really sure how much up to date it is.
They said it would be taxing on some machines, so I just have to believe them. The effects are nice of course.

For MWO it's the same old story about the Unseen/Reseen mechs. But then they got really creative with HBS, Harmony Gold's lawyers first claim that the Marauder from MWO is too close to one of their copyrighted designs, but then also claim that the Jenner artwork from BHS infringes upon the very same design, despite Jenner and Marauder looking very obviously different. And it's the same story for the Archer and Shadow Hawk, both are obviously not even close to looking alike but nevertheless Harmony Gold claims infringement based upon the same copyrighted design. I hope they just shot themselves in the foot with that dump claim...
